What throttle body for GVR4? - GalantVR4.org
Yes newbie question here. What other throttle body will mate to GVR4. I am looking to get one locally to remove the isc and plug the coolant line. Would N/T throttle work ok? or not because of the TB elbow? detail list would be greatly appreciated.

B, when stripping and manually extending the ISC while mounted on the Idle control block it closes the orifice but doesn't seal completely. Is this normal? I tested using Carb cleaner and there was a slow but pronounced leak. C, The throttle stop screw is wound in tight even with this it's sitting at 2.5K

Hunting Idle on Hot Start is driving me nuts! - GalantVR4.org
Finally since the ISC is old it could be faulty. I purchased a new ISC but it seems the JDM and USDM ISCs are different so I am stuck with the old ISC at present. Any of these issues could technically be the source of the problem but I really need to know why any of them would only cause an issue on a hot start and not on a cold start.

Test ECU Injector Drivers - GalantVR4.org
I had a 2nd ISC go out this weekend and I'm unsure how to determine if it took out the ECU driver. Is there a test I can do on the ECU to determine whether coil pair A and B are still good? The car is idle surging even with the ISC unplugged, so I'm leaning toward the ECU is fried again...

ISC clamp - galantvr4.org
If the ISC can't react fast enough, it won't catch them in time. It might not be as difficult as you think to tap a nipple into the FAIV to port air into it from pre-compressor. You would just then have to block off the port on the TB that normally supplies air to the ISC.

How much should I offer for this eprom? - GalantVR4.org
Now, I wanted to use this on a year-round car, and I think I'll be ok without the ISC, and I'm trying to get this for cheap. He wants me to make an offer and I have no idea. How much is an eprom with a blown ISC driver circuit worth?

So replaced the ISC after my last ecu blew a driver, I replaced the ecu and rewired the pump as some of you may remember, I have a bad idle surge now, and I adjusted the biss all the way in and still idles and fluctuates around 12-1600 rpms, The ISC I pulled out to see if it'd move with the key...

Idle Issues.. - GalantVR4.org
So I'm trying to get my new Galant all squared away and next on the list is this pesky idle. I tested the pins on the ISC and they're all reading around 29 ohms, which is apparently good. What happens is the car will fire up and idle pretty good, but it will sometimes drop idle and pick back...
